FK Baby Organic Clothing

Development  of an organic baby clothing range of products linked to an environmental awareness project. The idea was to create a limited edition collection that showed the babies as "Guardians of the Planet". Main tasks included developing design concept, sourcing materials, identifying suitable factories and eco-suppliers. Coordinating automated storage and supply services to customers.

Fk Baby products were made out of organic and fair trade cotton  through a fair trade project and carry all the due certifications such as Oeko- Tex Standard 100, GOTS Standards, Fairtrade Foundation and BSCI (The Business Social Compliance Initiative).  Reducing the use of chemicals is key in our vision thereby the garments use  certified organic dyes and all prints are water-based.

In order to carry out the project the following considerations were taken into account:

a) Assure that fair trade conditions are followed along the whole process.

b) Achieve the minimum negative environmental impact through our operations.

c) Educate customers and the general public about sustainability in order to allow them to make informed      decisions.

A Future of Hope- Coordinating Spanish translation and promotion in Spain

Coordinating Spanish translation of the widely acclaimed documentary "A Future of Hope" based on the Icelandic experience. The assistance provided allowed the documentary to be showcased with spanish subtitles in Film Festivals in Argentina and Spain.

Future of Hope is a documentary film following individuals that strive to change the world of consumerism, a system of credit and debt that the Icelandic economy was built upon for the past 10 years or more. Focusing on sustainable developments in organic farming, business, innovation, renewable energy and the environment - filled with positivity and emotion as we are taken on a story of struggle, determination and most importantly... hope. From the midnight sun, to dark winters lit only by the snow, from geysers to volcanoes, this movie truly explores the magnificent country of Iceland. Future of Hope takes you on a journey from the history to the present and even into the future of a new and sustainable Iceland.

Transition Movement

Following the Transition Movement originated in Totnes by Rob Hopkins the seed for a Transition Movement in Ibiza was planted.  We were part of the supporting team responsible for  creating  the Official Transition Movement in Ibiza called "Ibiza Transition Island" . We assisted offering a local strategy and organising activities such as showcasing documentaries, organising civil society meetings, introducing the concept to the local government as well as opening spaces for dialogue.

The aim was to inspire and train civil society to self-organise around the transition model, working in close collaboration with local authorities, creating initiatives to enhance resilience while reducing our environmental impact.

Unfortunately, the Ibiza initiative encountered some implementation barriers that, on the other hand, provided an excellent learning lab for community development projects and the analysis of the successes and failures allowed to develop additional projects with a much wider support such as the Ibiza Cooperativa model.

Ibiza Cooperativa

Being part of the first brainstorming sessions and providing strategic advice that later on took the form of "Ibiza Cooperativa", a coordination system for the local community. With this ‘shared vision’ in mind, we will collectively manifest a more holistic and regenerative life support model, where ‘synergy into action’ plays a major role in the plan to stimulate a happy and thriving multi-national community here on our popular little island

One Per Cent for Ibiza

One Per Cent for Ibiza is a project proposal aimed at fundraising funds creating partnerships with businesses, professionals and artists to donate 1% of their sales towards the platform www.onepercentforibiza.org which will support different local projects.  Projects and the plaftorm operation is suggested to be operated through a consensus decision process allowing projects to be voted by the local community in itself.

Environmental  Campaign

Apoyo en el re-diseño de la campaña Ibiza Limpia desarrollando un proyecto más amplio a lo largo de todo el año e implicando a la sociedad civil en la limpieza de la isla a la vez que se genera un servicio de utilidad colaborando en el mantenimiento de caminos rurales y playas educando tanto a la comunidad local como a los turistas.
